Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Golgari aristocrats and token combo deck helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy leverages Chatterfang's static ability to generate 1/1 green Squirrel tokens whenever any token enters the battlefield, turning Treasure, Food, and Clue generators into wide creature armies. The deck accelerates through early ramp, deploys Chatterfang by turn 3, and establishes a token engine on turn 4. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician dig for win conditions. By turn 6, the deck finishes opponents either through infinite drain loops using Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader combined with blood artist effects, or by overrunning the board with Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck features excellent permanent removal and commander-driven creature suppression, but lacks stack interaction and remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and targeted removal.
