Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan centers on deploying efficient Zombie creatures, establishing mana rocks, and casting Gisa on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, Gisa converts high-power creatures into double the number of 2/2 black Zombie tokens, rapidly multiplying board presence. The deck amplifies this token swarm with potent tribal lords such as Death Baron, Lord of the Undead, and Undead Warchief, giving the army lethal combat stats and evasion. Concurrently, aristocrat payoffs like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain opponents' life totals whenever Zombies enter the battlefield or die. While the deck boasts immense board-building power and high synergy, it lacks stack interaction and fast mana, rendering Gisa vulnerable to removal during her summoning sickness. By leaning on graveyard recursion and mass token spells, the deck reliably closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat and life drain.
