Deck overview

This is a Rakdos group-slug and life-loss attrition deck helmed by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The plan is to blanket the table with incremental drain, draw-punishment, and upkeep taxes so that every opponent's turn feeds Valgavoth's ward-protected body and card advantage. Damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Fiendish Duo turn those pings into real clocks, while aristocrat payoffs (Blood Artist, Massacre Wurm, Drivnod, Carnage Dominus) and big devotion swings (Gray Merchant of Asphodel) close games. A cheeky alternate line gifts Demonic Pact via Harmless Offering. The deck plays as midrange prison-slug: develop rocks, land Valgavoth, stack independent pain engines, and ride the card advantage until the table melts or a wipe-drain finishes everyone at once.
