Deck overview

This deck centers on Smaug the Impenetrable, converting noncombat damage into massive Treasure generation. By leveraging Smaug's indestructible body and haste, the deck uses symmetrical damage spells like Blasphemous Act and self-burn cards like Cut Propulsion to create dozens of Treasures in a single turn. These tokens trigger lethal table-wide drain through cards like Marionette Apprentice, Reckless Fireweaver, and Mirkwood Bats. The list also features a compact infinite loop with Dizzying Gaze, generating unbounded Treasures and death triggers. High redundancy in burn spells and drain payoffs provides consistent execution, while fast rituals and mana rocks power out the 7-mana commander on Turn 5. Although resilient to destroy-based removal, the deck remains vulnerable to exile effects and lacks extensive stack interaction.
