Rhys V0.2 by LasdalMerzim

Format: Commander

Commander: Rhys the Redeemed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya token swarm strategy helmed by Rhys the Redeemed, focused on generating a massive army of creature tokens and then doubling them for overwhelming board presence. The primary game plan is to accelerate with mana dorks (mostly Elves), deploy token generators, and pump the team with anthems like Intangible Virtue and Cathars' Crusade. Populate effects and token doublers such as Exalted Sunborn and Second Harvest multiply the board exponentially. The deck wins through combat damage, often with evasive or boosted tokens, and can close games quickly once a critical mass is reached. The commander's activated ability to double all tokens is a powerful finisher, but the 99 contains enough independent token production to function without him.
