New Untitled Deck by user2662382

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls is the engine: every opponent's first life loss on their turn makes the commander bigger and draws a card. The primary plan is to keep at least one opponent-facing pain trigger online each turn cycle so Valgavoth feeds the deck during the table's turns, then convert that card flow into more draw-pain and incremental drain. Secondary paths are commander damage from a growing, flying Valgavoth and burst drain from Gray Merchant, Massacre Wurm, and Fear of Burning Alive. There is no hidden commander; Vial Smasher and Braids are complementary engines, while the rest of the 99 is a BR 'pain' package that punishes every draw, cast, and land.
