Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy built around Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a dense suite of legendary Heroes. The primary game plan uses Nick Fury's Power-up ability to look seven cards deep and cheat powerful Hero creatures, Vehicles, and Equipment directly into play. Flicker engines such as Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Silver Surfer, Cosmic Voyager repeatedly blink Nick Fury, resetting his once-per-turn power-up restriction and reducing its activation cost each turn he re-enters. As Heroes enter, cards like Captain America, Team Leader, Black Panther, Vanguard, and Hawkeye, Trick Shot grant haste, distribute +1/+1 counters, and deal direct damage. The deck sustains immense card advantage through Guardian Project and Kindred Discovery while defending its board with Spectacular Spider-Man and efficient countermagic, closing the game through overwhelming combat damage by Turn 8.
