Deck overview

This Rakdos Spellslinger deck is commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, focusing on assembling an army of Wizard pingers to incinerate opponents. Early turns deploy mana rocks and rummaging spells to sculpt the hand. Once Kuja enters on Turn 4, it generates Wizard tokens at each end step. After reaching four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. The deck then pivots into an explosive critical onset around Turn 6, using damage amplifiers like The Rollercrusher Ride and City on Fire or impulsive engines like Virtue of Courage. Chaining low-cost noncreature spells triggers devastating multi-target burn, closing the game around Turn 7. Efficient removal and redirection spells like Deflecting Swat protect key pieces while keeping opposing threats in check.
