Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a political aggro deck built around Breena, the Demagogue. The primary strategy deploys cheap, evasive creatures on the first two turns, casts Breena on Turn 3, and attacks opponents with unequal life totals to trigger Breena's card draw and +1/+1 counter placement. As attackers grow into massive airborne threats, cards with double strike like Shrike Force and Chocobo Knights rapidly accelerate the clock. The deck uses political incentives and combat taxes like Ghostly Prison, Orzhov Advokist, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer to direct opponent aggression elsewhere. To preserve its board across multiple combat rotations, the deck runs an exceptionally dense suite of one-mana protection spells and phasing effects like Clever Concealment. While it lacks infinite combos and relies strictly on fair combat damage, its card velocity and resilient protection allow it to systematically eliminate opponents by Turn 8.
