Darien - Deckcheck Tuned by grunerap

Format: Commander

Commander: Darien, King of Kjeldor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Darien, King of Kjeldor, a single-faced commander, leads a mono-white soldier-token engine that punishes self-inflicted damage. The primary plan is to cast Darien and turn pain lands, Ankh of Mishra, Jinxed Idol, and Mana Vault upkeep damage into a growing army of 1/1 Soldiers, amplified by Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus. Myrel, Shield of Argive is the hidden commander: her attack trigger creates a second burst of Soldiers proportional to the board, often doubling the army in one combat. The deck backs this with Soldier lords and tutoring; secondary wins come from Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Blasting Station, or a wide attack under anthems. It is a midrange swarm deck that protects Darien with haste gear, hexproof, and mass protection.
