Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Deck overview

Legendary Wizards are the engine and the payoff of this Jeskai deck. Gandalf, Party Guest turns a Wizard-heavy board into free instant and sorcery casts at the start of combat, while Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, Whirlwind of Thought, and Kykar turn every noncreature spell into extra triggers, tokens, and cards. The primary plan is to curve out several legendary Wizards, use Gandalf to chain value spells, then finish with an alpha strike under Akroma's Will or Surge to Victory. Secondary paths include recurring spells with Lier and Mizzix's Mastery and burning triggers with Gandalf, Goblins' Bane or Vivi Ornitier. There is no hidden commander; the face commander fully drives the plan.
