Deck overview

This is an aggressive, high-speed Voltron deck built around Skullbriar, the Walking Grave. The primary game plan is to deploy Skullbriar as early as turn two, abuse its built-in haste to start accumulating +1/+1 counters immediately on attack, then supercharge those counters with a dense suite of doubling effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Hydra's Growth) and protection spells to keep the commander alive. Once Skullbriar reaches lethal commander-damage range (21), the deck finishes opponents one by one, supported by alternative win outlets like Essence Harvest and card-advantage spells that scale with power (Rishkar's Expertise). The mana base is highly optimized with fetchlands, duals, and an unusual number of 1-mana dorks, enabling blistering starts while the low curve (2.15 average) keeps the engine running.
