Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It focuses on accelerating mana through cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator, Treasure-generating spells, and cheat engines like Sneak Attack and Cryptic Gateway. The primary game plan aims to deploy Lathliss by Turn 5 and trigger her ability on Turn 6 with impactful Dragons like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, or Utvara Hellkite. This rapidly populates the battlefield with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens while burning down opposing boards or life totals. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming aerial combat damage boosted by firebreathing effects. While resilient against single-target disruption due to standalone threats, the deck is vulnerable to mass board exile and lacks stack-based countermagic.
