Deck overview

This Simic deck pairs Pir, Imaginative Rascal and Toothy, Imaginary Friend to create an explosive card-advantage and combo engine. Pir accelerates the rate at which Toothy gains +1/+1 counters whenever cards are drawn. Cheap blink spells like Essence Flux and Ghostly Flicker reset Toothy while resolving its leaves-the-battlefield trigger, refilling the hand with massive bursts of fresh cards. The deck leverages efficient mana rocks and green creature tutors to pivot from value into game-ending combos. Its primary win condition pairs Deadeye Navigator with Peregrine Drake to generate infinite mana, then blinks Toothy to draw the entire library before closing with Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or Altar of Dementia. A robust suite of free and efficient counterspells protects the combo turn, giving the deck high resilience and sudden lethality.
