Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a high-synergy Aristocrats Combo-Control strategy led by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. The deck aims to construct a resilient engine of sacrifice outlets, recursive creatures, and drain payoffs while establishing asymmetric board control. Liesa, Forgotten Archangel provides persistent graveyard denial by exiling opposing creatures that die while returning your own sacrificed nontoken creatures to hand each turn. This allows repeated loops of disruptive enters-the-battlefield creatures like Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder alongside stax enchantments like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. Once the board is contained, the deck transitions into compact infinite sacrifice lines utilizing Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader with recursive creatures like Gravecrawler and Forsaken Miner, draining the table with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Marionette Apprentice. Proactive protection from Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Ranger-Captain of Eos ensures uninterrupted combo execution, making the deck resilient, interactive, and lethal.
