Deck overview

This Temur Commander deck is led by The Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan, focusing on the Paradox mechanic to generate compounding card flow and combat power. The strategy pairs Yasmin Khan's impulse-draw tap ability with the Doctor's paradox trigger, putting +1/+1 counters on key creatures and untapping them at end step so Yasmin can activate again on opposing turns. Once the engine is online, the deck accelerates into devastating payoffs such as Sisterhood of Karn, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus. While the engine generates substantial card advantage from exile, the win plan relies primarily on combat damage across multiple turn cycles, leaving it vulnerable to mass creature removal. The deck lacks dedicated tutors and heavy countermagic, functioning as a high-synergy, value-driven midrange deck that overwhelms opponents through board presence, continuous card flow, and incremental burn.
