Counter Blitz (FINAL FANTASY X) by user9552082

Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian is a single-faced commander and the deck is built around his cheer trigger: get counters on attackers, connect, then draw and proliferate every turn. The principal plan is Bant counter-aggro with evasion, backed by a Simic Ascendancy counter-race and two compact combo finishes-Gatta and Luzzu plus Walking Ballista with a replacement doubler, and Maester Seymour plus Sage of Hours for an extra-turn lock. Yuna, Grand Summoner acts as a hidden commander, supplying mana, double counters, and recursion. The deck is not commander-dependent for its combos, but Tidus is still the main card-draw engine.
