Snakes for J by chaoscodester

Format: Commander

Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Primary plan: Hapatra turns every -1/-1 counter into a deathtouch Snake. The deck accelerates that with Nest of Scarabs, Flourishing Defenses, and proliferate effects, building a critical swarm while draining with Obelisk Spider. Secondary plan is Snake tribal combat: Seshiro, Sosuke, and Beastmaster Ascension turn tokens into lethal swings. The Blowfly Infestation loop, with any token generator and Obelisk Spider, is the fastest deterministic win. Orochi Eggwatcher // Shidako, Broodmistress is the split card: the front is a token source; the back is a situational pump and sacrifice outlet. Hapatra is the engine, not a hidden commander.
