Deck overview

This deck leverages The Unluckiest Planeswalker's Rulebreaker ability to build a five-color Curse and Aura control strategy utilizing basic lands. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient ramp to cast its commander, generating Gremlin blockers while fixing mana. On Turn 4, it deploys critical engines such as Curse of Misfortunes, Curse of Surveillance, or Planeswalker Talents, followed by the commander's -3 ability to draw massive hands. Critical onset occurs on Turn 6 as Curse of Misfortunes chains damage doublers like Curse of Bloodletting and life-halving effects like Grievous Wound onto high-threat opponents. Goad effects like Disrupt Decorum and the Impetus cycle force opponents to attack one another, whittling down life totals before closing the final 1v1 on Turn 9. While resilient against creature wipes, the deck must manage the loss of Curses when enchanted players die.
