Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist pilots an Esper discard-reanimation engine that converts discarded creature cards into 4/4 black Zombie token copies for {2}{U}. The deck uses cheap looters like Likeness Looter, Cryptbreaker, and Psychic Frog alongside cycling cards and draw spells to discard high-impact threats such as Archfiend of Ifnir, Nezahal, Primal Tide, and Moonshaker Cavalry. Once assembled on Turn 4, Hashaton immediately copies these threats well ahead of curve. Turn 5 marks critical onset as cloned beaters establish massive board control, asymmetric creature suppression, or explosive combat anthems. A secondary infect and proliferate package provides alternate pressure through Plague Stinger, Skrelv, Defector Mite, and recurring proliferate spells. The deck wins on Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage across two response cycles, backed by Zombie lord buffs and evasion. Protection from Gleaming Overseer and Rootborn Defenses helps shield the token board, while efficient spot removal keeps opposing threats in check.
