Deck overview

This Rakdos deck helmed by Kardur, Doomscourge is a group-slug/goad strategy that forces opponents into chaotic combat. The primary plan is to deploy Kardur early to goad all opposing creatures, then profit from the inevitable carnage with drain effects, death triggers, and punishing enchantments. The deck lacks a fast combo or a dedicated Voltron line; instead, it grinds out value through repeated life loss from cards like Spiteful Visions, Stormfist Crusader, and Kaervek the Merciless, while Dictate of the Twin Gods doubles damage to accelerate the clock. The secondary win condition is overwhelming the board with high-cost demons and elementals that generate continuous damage or theft. The deck is highly interactive but sorcery-speed, relying on removal and board wipes to control the pace. It is a midrange attrition deck that wins through cumulative advantage over many turns.
