Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal and Treasure token strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary plan curves out low-cost Dwarves and Equipment during the early turns to build a durable board state. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf produces Treasure tokens while Thorin provides all other Dwarves with a massive power bonus based on your artifact token total. This dynamic converts small utility creatures into lethal attackers. Supplemental powerhouses like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Smaug the Magnificent, and Dáin of the Ancient Halls contribute direct burn, evasion, and instant-speed tutoring. The deck achieves consistent recovery through dense tribal redundancy, but remains vulnerable to mass artifact wipes and board sweepers that reset creature counts before combat damage finishes all opponents across multiple turns.
