Deck overview

This Abzan enchantment deck is commanded by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The strategy unites traditional enchantress card advantage with graveyard reanimation and token swarms. In the early turns, the deck deploys mana dorks, cost reducers, and self-mill engines such as Hermit Druid and Stitcher's Supplier to stock the graveyard with powerful enchantments. On Turn 4, Anikthea enters the battlefield and reanimates a high-impact enchantment as a 3/3 Zombie creature. On Turn 5, Anikthea attacks to create an additional copy, scaling combat power through cards like Legion Loyalty, True Conviction, or Boon of the Spirit Realm. Anikthea grants menace to all enchantment creatures, making the attacking army difficult to block. A dense protection suite featuring Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Heroic Intervention shields the board from sweepers and removal. The deck consistently closes games on Turn 6 through overwhelming, evasive combat damage.
