Smaug but worm by Boralin

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-storm value deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The plan floods the board with Treasure tokens, then converts that mana into card advantage, drains, and alternate-win payoffs. Smaug is the primary engine: his ETB mints Treasures off opponents' artifacts, and every subsequent spell cast with Treasure mana draws a card (at 1 life). The deck layers multiple Treasure multipliers (Xorn, Academy Manufactor, Goldspan Dragon) with sacrifice outlets and life-drain payoffs (Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, Alchemist's Talent) plus hard alternate wins in Revel in Riches and Knuckles the Echidna. Big X-spells like Torment of Hailfire and combat from the Dragon package provide backup clocks. The deck plays as a midrange resource engine that snowballs once Treasures start chaining into draws and drains.
