Deck overview

This is a mono-red artifact midrange deck helmed by Daretti, Scrap Savant. The plan is to fill the graveyard with loot effects, then repeatedly reanimate high-impact artifacts via Daretti's -2, Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer, and related scrap engines. Cost reducers and affinity pieces (Foundry Inspector, Mycosynth Golem, Metalwork Colossus) let expensive finishers hit the board ahead of curve, while Darksteel Forge, Soul of New Phyrexia, and death-trigger bodies (Wurmcoil Engine, Triplicate Titan, Phyrexian Triniform) provide staying power. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat with colossal artifact creatures (often given haste by Anger or The Fire Crystal), a resolved Portal to Phyrexia, or attrition through recursive value. The deck is grindy rather than explosive, leveraging the command zone as a repeatable loot-and-reanimate engine while the 99 supplies redundant welders and threats.
