Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses Teval, Arbiter of Virtue to convert self-milled cards into explosive mana acceleration. By giving every cast spell delve, Teval transforms the graveyard into a reserve of colorless mana, enabling high-mana spells to be cast for mere colored pips. The life loss caused by Teval is mitigated by the commander's 6/6 lifelink body and weaponized through cards like Vilis, Broker of Blood, which converts that life loss directly into massive card draw. The early game focuses on filling the graveyard with enablers like Stitcher's Supplier and Grisly Salvage. Once Teval lands on turn 4, the deck pivots into dropping towering threats like Beledros Witherbloom or Massacre Wurm, before closing the game via Repay in Kind, combat, or a huge Exsanguinate. While the deck excels at overwhelming value and explosive turns, it must respect targeted creature removal and graveyard hate.
