Deck overview

This Boros deck commands the flow of combat through Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser, combining aggressive goad mechanics with political card advantage and Aikido-style damage reflection. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Nelly Borca deployment on Turn 3 or 4, suspecting high-threat opposing creatures to force mutual attrition among opponents while drawing extra cards whenever they strike one another. In the midgame, mass goad spells such as Disrupt Decorum and Taunt from the Rampart, alongside damage doublers like Fiendish Duo and Death Kiss, escalate table combat into lethal exchanges that eliminate two players. To resolve the final one-on-one confrontation where goad loses defensive redirection, the list transitions into decisive finishers using Hot Pursuit to take temporary control of all goaded creatures, damage reflection with Brash Taunter and Blasphemous Act, or high-impact redirection spells like Deflecting Palm and Comeuppance. Resilient protection spells shield the board as opponents exhaust their resources.
