MARALEN by user5063946

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a Sultai Elf/Faerie value engine that exiles opponents' top cards and free-casts one of them each turn once enough tribal creatures are out. The deck is primarily a token-elfball build: cheap Elves and Faeries, token producers (Imperious Perfect, Lys Alana Huntmaster, Varis) and anthem effects (Elvish Archdruid, Morcant's Loyalist) build a wide board. Lathril, Blade of the Elves is the hidden commander, adding tokens and a tap-10-Elves kill. Secondary paths use theft (Gonti, Night Minister; Maralen's exile) and flash-based interaction to gain card advantage. No double-faced commander appears; the deck can function without Maralen, but she supplies its highest-value spell acceleration.
