Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis midrange deck commanded by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It uses efficient ramp and rituals to deploy Sauron on Turn 4, generating an automatic Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells. The primary game plan revolves around the Ring tempting mechanic, amplified by eight copies of Nazgûl that grow larger with each trigger. Sauron turns every Ring trigger into a massive card-draw wheel by discarding the hand to draw four fresh cards. The deck translates this card advantage into lethal combat pressure using evasion tools like The Black Gate and Herald of Secret Streams, backed by direct damage from All Will Be One. A lean suite of low-cost counterspells and reanimation spells provides defensive resilience and recovery against opposing disruption.
