Deck overview

This Grixis Midrange deck is commanded by Kefka, Court Mage, utilizing a blend of symmetric discard, trigger amplification, and blink effects to build an overwhelming resource advantage. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and discard payoffs like Waste Not and Tergrid, God of Fright before casting Kefka on Turn 4. Kefka immediately generates card advantage on entry by drawing for each distinct card type discarded across all players. Wizards and trigger amplifiers like Harmonic Prodigy and Naban, Dean of Iteration double these effects, emptying opposing hands while drawing massive card volumes. Once opponents are constrained to top-decking, the deck finishes through combat with Zombie tokens, stolen permanents, life-drain from Liliana's Caress and Psychosis Crawler, or the Dualcaster Mage and Blur infinite-draw loop. Robust low-cost interaction and free commander spells protect the board state while keeping opposing strategies suppressed.
