Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-black combo deck built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. K'rrik replaces black mana symbols in costs with 2 life, supercharging the deck's mana output and spell velocity. The primary game plan seeks to cheat Vilis, Broker of Blood onto the battlefield as early as Turn 2 or 3 using Entomb or Buried Alive paired with cheap reanimation spells like Reanimate or Animate Dead. Once Vilis enters, every life payment made through K'rrik draws cards, allowing the pilot to draw through the deck and assemble lethal finishers. The primary win condition is Aetherflux Reservoir, which converts dense spell-casting and graveyard recursion into triple-digit life totals to eliminate all opponents with 50-damage bursts in a single turn. Backup lines utilize Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Tendrils of Agony to drain the table.
