Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya +1/+1 counters aggressive midrange strategy helmed by Trostani, Three Whispers. The deck leverages rapid early-game acceleration to establish a board of creatures that steadily grow through scalable counter engines such as Forgotten Ancient, Innkeeper's Talent, and Conclave Mentor. Trostani acts as a versatile combat utility engine in the command zone, granting deathtouch, vigilance, and double strike on demand. This ability pairs powerfully with pingers like Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile for one-sided board suppression. The primary path to victory is wide-board combat damage enhanced by static evasion lords such as Abzan Falconer and Duskshell Crawler, culminating in massive overrun swings via Kalonian Hydra or Overwhelming Stampede. The list features robust protection against conventional board wipes through mass indestructible spells, while remaining susceptible to mass exile effects and fast non-creature combo decks.
