Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Vampire Aristocrats strategy commanded by Clavileño, First of the Blessed. The central game plan focuses on casting low-cost Vampires in the early turns, using Clavileño's attack trigger to turn them into Demons that replace themselves with fresh cards and 4/3 flying Vampire Demon tokens upon death. These evasive flying threats, combined with drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker, create immense mid-game pressure that rapidly shrinks life totals. High-impact pieces such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz accelerate combat clocks, while asymmetric sweepers like Olivia's Wrath keep opposing boards clear. As a compact alternate win condition, the deck features the classic two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, which can be tutored to close out games instantly when combat stalls.
