Olinda the Oblivious by raccoonbardofbramble

Format: Commander

Commander: Olinda the Oblivious

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This monoblack life-drain attrition deck helmed by Olinda the Oblivious leverages odor counters to slowly grind opponents' life totals while assembling powerful infinite combos. The primary plan uses Exquisite Blood + Bloodthirsty Conqueror to create an infinite life-gain/life-loss loop, and Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension for a mill-based alternative. Bolas's Citadel provides explosive card advantage and can close games through Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire. The commander's odor counters give the initial life-loss trigger, but the deck functions well without her, relying on strong draw engines like Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections, and Vilis, Broker of Blood to find its key pieces. A robust suite of instant-speed removal and recursion ensures the deck can answer threats and recover from disruption.
