Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red storm build commanded by Thor, Guardian of Midgard. Thor turns any source of noncombat damage dealt to opponents into massive impulse draw, exiling cards from the library equal to the damage dealt. By combining Thor with cheap pingers such as Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, and Kessig Flamebreather, every noncreature spell deals 1 damage to each opponent, exiling 3 fresh cards to play. An elite fast-mana package featuring Lion's Eye Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, and rituals lets the deck assemble Thor and a damage engine by Turn 3. The deck then chains positive-mana rocks, rituals, and storm enablers to churn through the library in a single explosive turn. The win is finalized via table-wide burn, Aetherflux Reservoir, Grapeshot, or Underworld Breach loops.
