Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos group slug and combo engine led by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy leverages a dense suite of low-cost pingers, upkeep bleeders, and draw punishers—including Orcish Bowmasters, Razorkin Needlehead, Roiling Vortex, and Underworld Dreams—to ensure opponents repeatedly lose exactly 1 life. Every trigger places a +1/+1 counter on Ob Nixilis and exiles the top card of your library, creating an overwhelming card-flow advantage that outpaces traditional draw engines. The primary route to victory combines Ob Nixilis with All Will Be One, forming an instant-speed infinite damage loop that finishes the entire table in a single turn. Defensively, the deck relies on efficient redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend to protect its combo pieces while disrupting opposing interaction. Symmetrical damage pieces like Manabarbs and Burning Earth break parity by supercharging Ob Nixilis, turning ordinary game actions into lethal liabilities for opponents.
