Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan graveyard-attrition strategy commanded by Karador, Ghost Chieftain. It focuses on filling the graveyard during the early turns with self-mill creatures and targeted spells such as Stitcher's Supplier, Satyr Wayfinder, and Grisly Salvage. Doing so reduces Karador's casting cost to its minimum colored requirement of three mana. Once assembled on Turn 5, Karador transforms the graveyard into an accessible second hand, repeatedly recurring sacrifice-inducing creatures like Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder to strip opposing boards. The deck pivots into a win condition around Turn 6 by leveraging high-impact recursion engines, mass reanimation via Living Death, or repeating life-drain triggers with Kokusho, the Evening Star and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While highly resilient to conventional creature board wipes due to built-in cost reduction, the list is inherently vulnerable to dedicated graveyard exile and lacks stack-based protection spells.
