Commander: Kuroki, Thief of Talents

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black control and discard deck strips opponent resources while converting forced discards into mana, card draw, and board presence. Kuroki, Thief of Talents acts as a top-end value commander, offering opponents a punishing choice between feeding you free spells or letting Kuroki grow into a lethal threat. The deck controls the board using hand disruption, asymmetric sacrifice effects, and sweepers. You secure victory by generating huge mana with Cabal Coffers or Crypt Ghast to cast a lethal Torment of Hailfire, draining the table via Gray Merchant of Asphodel loops, or chaining through your deck using Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and Ad Nauseam.
