Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, blending Naya lands-matter acceleration with artifact synergy and aggressive earthbending. Toph turns all nontoken artifacts into lands, shielding them from nonland sweepers and allowing them to be targeted by earthbend triggers. The deck rapidly ramps during the early turns with efficient mana dorks, rocks, and land tutors. Once Toph is on the battlefield, it generates recurring, hasty land creatures that return to play if destroyed or exiled. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combat combo between Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed. Ashaya turns Bumi into a Forest land, allowing Bumi to target itself with Earthbend 4 for haste and attack immediately, untapping all lands upon connecting to chain infinite combat steps. Backup plans leverage Finale of Devastation, Gaea's Cradle, and Portal to Phyrexia to overpower the table through overwhelming board presence and stax locks.
