Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Baru, Wurmspeaker commands a mono-green stompy deck dedicated to ramping out colossal Wurm creatures and overwhelming the board. The game plan focuses on rapid mana development through mana dorks, land-based ramp, and cost reducers. Once the board is established, Baru provides a team-wide plus two power buff and trample while converting extra mana into discounted Wurm tokens. Heavy hitters like Worldspine Wurm, Defiler of Vigor, and Grothama, All-Devouring apply immense combat pressure. Draw engines tied to creature power keep hands full of threats. The primary win condition is lethal combat damage, pushing through opposing defenses with trample and intimidate from Bellowing Tanglewurm.
