Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mono-Green token strategy centered on Shroofus Sproutsire. The primary game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to cast the commander early, then uses efficient combat tricks and pump spells—such as Giant Growth, Blitzball Shot, and Bestow Greatness—to deal large amounts of trample combat damage. Because Shroofus creates a 1/1 Saproling for every point of combat damage dealt by any Saproling you control, single combat connections cause the token swarm to multiply exponentially. Once a wide token army is established on turn 5, the deck transitions into a decisive finish on turn 6 using mass overruns like Craterhoof Behemoth, passive buffs from Tendershoot Dryad, unblockable evasion from Champion of Lambholt, or static size replacement from March of the World Ooze. The deck protects its vulnerable setup with efficient interaction including Snakeskin Veil and Selfless Safewright, while drawing cards through Skullclamp and Shamanic Revelation.
