Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange deck helmed by Loki, the Deceiver. The plan is to flood the board with legendary Villains, leverage connive and discard payoffs, and convert combat damage into card advantage. Loki attacks to clone another Villain as a temporary Illusion token while drawing whenever Villains connect, turning every swing into value. Supporting engines include token makers (Madame Hydra, Ultron, Unlimited, Endless Ranks of HYDRA), connive lords (Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Doctor Doom, King of Latveria), and finishers like The Squadron Sinister and Living Laser. There are no infinite combos; wins come from combat pressure, go-wide Robot/Villain swarms, and opportunistic theft. The deck plays as a thematic beatdown strategy that grinds value through combat and discard loops rather than explosive combo turns.
