Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Planeswalker control and mill deck helmed by Jace, Vryn's Prodigy. It leans heavily into a thematic showcase of Jace planeswalkers while leveraging strong blue interaction, card draw, and mill synergies. In the early turns, the deck filters through its library using Jace's looting ability and efficient cantrips to quickly fill the graveyard and transform Jace into Jace, Telepath Unbound. Mid-game turns establish card velocity through continuous draw engines like Rhystic Study, The Theorist, Jace Beleren, and Consecrated Sphinx, while defensive spells like Propaganda and Aetherize suppress incoming combat damage. The deck closes games around Turn 6–7 by executing decisive mill combinations—either casting a kicked Maddening Cacophony alongside Bruvac the Grandiloquent to empty all opposing libraries at once, or activating Painter's Servant with Grindstone. A secondary self-mill line with Laboratory Maniac and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries provides reliable alternate victory routes.
