Deck overview

This Grixis amass deck, helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord, is built around growing a single Army token into an overwhelming threat while Sauron converts every opponent spell into an amass trigger and every Ring temptation into a four-card draw. The primary path to victory is combat: a massive Army with trample from Orcish Siegemaster, menace and deathtouch from the Nazgul, and annihilator from Nazgul Battle-Mace closes games in a few swings. A secondary, faster line is the persist combo - Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin with Ashnod's Altar and a counter-doubling piece like Metallic Mimic or Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain - for infinite damage or mana. A small reanimation package (Entomb, Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize, Whip of Erebos) adds resilience and lets the deck cheat key pieces back. The deck plays as a midrange value engine that out-draws opponents and overwhelms with a growing board.
