Riku, Temur

Format: Commander

Commander: Riku of Two Reflections

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Riku of Two Reflections is a Temur value engine that turns every spell into two. The deck combines ramp, draw, and copy effects to double massive instants/sorceries and valuable nontoken creatures, closing games with hasty Giant hordes or copied X-spells. A secondary line uses Prismari, the Inspiration and storm to mill or burn opponents. Although Riku is the primary face, the list is seeded with independent engines-Magus Lucea Kane, Unbound Flourishing, Dualcaster Mage, and Reflections of Littjara-so the deck does not collapse if Riku is answered. It is a midrange combo-value deck that can goldfish a win by turn seven or eight, but is most consistent when allowed to set up.
