Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet coin-flip and chaos midrange build commanded by Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The primary strategy focuses on early mana acceleration to deploy Yusri by Turn 2 or 3, attacking on Turn 4 to generate massive card draw through 5-coin flip triggers. This surge of card advantage fuels midgame threats such as Okaun, Eye of Chaos, The Locust God, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Okaun serves as the premier damage finisher, doubling its power on successful flips to eliminate opponents in combat alongside Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar or Soul's Fire. The deck runs a robust interaction suite of efficient counterspells like Mana Drain and Force of Negation, complemented by sweepers such as Blasphemous Act. While lacking deterministic infinite combos and targeted noncreature removal, the deck leverages high card flow, chaos disruption, and explosive combat scaling to close games around Turn 8.
