Deck overview

This Boros Voltron deck pairs Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh with Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to deliver fast, highly evasive commander damage. Rograkh enters on turn one for zero mana with first strike, menace, and trample. Ardenn enters on turn three and bypasses hefty equip costs by attaching equipment directly at the start of combat. High-power armaments like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Commander's Plate turn Rograkh into an immediate lethal threat by turn three. Dedicated equipment tutors such as Steelshaper's Gift and Fighter Class guarantee redundant access to key weapons. The deck shields its aggressive clock using instant protection like Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Mithril Coat, often fetched on demand with Sunforger. While the deck eliminates opponents individually across consecutive combat steps, cards like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and extra combat spells can accelerate table-wide finishes. Weaknesses include vulnerability to repeated commander removal and mass bounce or exile sweepers.
