Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters midrange strategy commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The primary game plan revolves around spreading -1/-1 counters across both sides of the board to generate massive asymmetric advantage. Placing counters on friendly creatures fuels repeatable card draw through Auntie Ool, while placing counters on opposing creatures steadily drains opponents' life totals and shrinks their boards. The deck transitions into the midgame by deploying heavy stax and attrition pieces such as Kulrath Knight, Carnifex Demon, and Archfiend of Ifnir, which lock opponents out of combat and dismantle their boards. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide token combat via Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Flourishing Defenses, life-drain triggers, or by assembling the infinite synergy loop between Blowfly Infestation and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. Strong recursion and redundant engines make it resilient against single-target disruption.
