Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai pillowfort and forced-combat control deck commanded by Pramikon, Sky Rampart. Its core strategy revolves around directing the flow of combat away from yourself, taxing any aggressive actions, and locking down opposing board development. By layering directional combat restrictions with cards like Mystic Barrier and Pramikon alongside heavy taxation effects like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety, the deck forces opponents to battle each other while remaining virtually untouchable. Asymmetrical control pieces such as Teferi, Time Raveler and Narset, Parter of Veils strip opponents of their ability to interact at instant speed or pull ahead on cards. Once complete board stability is established, the deck transitions into winning through self-contained alternate win conditions, primarily Approach of the Second Sun, or clock-based payoffs like The Millennium Calendar and Azor's Elocutors, backed by robust countermagic and board sweepers.
