Deck overview

Edgar Markov is the engine for a wide Mardu Vampire swarm that wins through either a critical-mass attack or a life-drain loop. Eminence creates a free token on every Vampire spell, so even if Edgar never resolves the deck builds a board. Lords like Legion Lieutenant and Stromkirk Captain plus Edgar's attack trigger turn those tokens into real damage. The alternate plan assembles Vito/Sanguine Bond with Bloodthirsty Conqueror/Exquisite Blood to turn any small life-loss event into an infinite loop. No hidden commander; the deck is centered on Edgar's Eminence, and deploying him is a hasty anthem rather than the essential engine.
